Marrakesh Oil does not lay on top of the hair like most oils. It gets absorbed and creates great shine and smooth hair.

My salon was out of Moroccan Oil so I tried this instead. The pump packaging is MUCH easier to use and though it’s a very similar product it seems a bit “lighter”. I notice I need to use more to get the same result, but others may not need to use as much as I do and may even prefer this formula. My shoulder-length hair is very dry and without a product like this it really suffers in our hot, windy, dry summers. I like how the Moroccan Oil smells and the Marrakesh Oil also has a pleasant fragrance but some may find it overly sweet. It reminds me a little bit of cotton candy. It smells and works much better than the Frizz-Ease products without making hair greasy or limp.
Even though I use it on wet hair, on dry hair for morning styling and again at night before brushing, this little bottle lasted a very long time. Overall I found this product an acceptable substitute with the same effects (silky, shiny, frizz-free hair) and the Amazon price is 1/3 what I paid.

I have used Marrakesh oil for about a year now, and it is great for hair that is curly and tends to friz, especially in humid weather conditions! And this price is great!
